Training of Security Personnel

As a matter of Company Policy, Risalas since its inception consistently continues to lay stress on the importance on fundamentals of training.

A good initial training and regular refresher training is the only method of effective and efficient professional security. An opportunity to enhance the security skills for Security Guards to supervisory staff is being provided.

The following types of training is imparted :-

Pre-deployment training to include turnout, soft skills, security duties and Fire fighting, etc.
On the Job training (OJT)
Continual / Refresher training
Customized training


  • Pre-Deployment Training – For Supervisor and Security Guards 22 days training shall be conducted as laid down in Private Security Agency Regulation Act 2005 which includes theory, physical and outside training.
  • On the Job Training– As the name suggests, it is a training of short duration of 10-15 minutes on a common/specific topic so as to refresh the employee on daily basis. The session will be given at the beginning of a shift by the supervisor as a supplement so as to enable the employees to perform the duties well.
  • Continual Lectures / Classes Refresher Training– The training of all operational staff on latest security concepts and ever changing security threats is being imparted regularly. It is a knowledge sharing session in the form of lectures, seminar, hand out etc. These are fortnightly/monthly activity. It intends to build, reinforce and refresh employee’s level of knowledge in specific areas. Here the selected topics are also discussed in detail.
  • Customized Training–This programme is developed for employees in order to address knowledge gaps, career goals and organizational/ customer driven needs. The training needs are indentified for all employees and client based on the identified requirements; an external training programme is drawn for needs
